This week I had the opportunity to go back to quote on a new project for an existing client. It gave me the chance to take some photos of the Kitchen Island I designed and made for them a year ago. I was pleased to see it was still looking as good as when I finished it and was glad they were still pleased with all the little details having used it over the past twelve months. This bathroom has been a true labour of love and is finally finished!
From an old unused loft, it is now a fantastically unique ensuite with lots of features that make all of the difference like a remote controlled Velux and LED mini spotlights in the curved panelled sill.

I moved this door and created a new frame and lining. The doorway, in it's new positioninto the roundel room, has two steps down into it. As it's never good to open a door over stairs I suggested that the door should open out into the corridor. The client wanted to keep the traditional original latch on the door but this style of latch it designed to fit on an opening inwards door, with the keep being mounted to the outside of the frame.
